Popsicles for breakfast

This morning, for just a few minutes, I got to be the coolest mom ever.

Yesterday I deviated a bit from my meal plan and made smoothies for breakfast using bananas, frozen mixed berries, plain yogurt, a handful of oatmeal and a splash of milk. As yummy as they were, there was still some left over when it was time to go.

So I poured the leftovers into popsicle molds, popped them in the freezer, and was a hero this morning.

Popsicle for breakfast!

I always make smoothie pops with the leftovers. I love seeing my son eat them;).

I never heard of adding oatmeal though. Was it cooked or what?

Glad you are enjoying them! The oatmeal is raw… just a handful out of the canister. My friend, an Eat Clean gal, suggested it.
