Proverbs SOAP: Keeping His Word in me

A Chapter of Proverbs a Day…

Scripture: Proverbs 7:1

My son, keep my words and store up my commands within you

Observation: Don’t forget what I have taught you, instead keep my commands in mind always

Application: One great way to stick to the path God has set out for me is to remain in a regular prayer and study routine. If a stray from that, then I may stray from His path. If I stick with that, then I will be continually re-filled with Him.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for providing your written Word for us to read and study. Thank you, Lord, for the Holy Spirit who whispers to me. And thank you, Lord, for hearing my prayers. I want to keep your words and commands continually in me. Thank you for showing me some excellent ways to do that. Please, Lord, never let me tire of your Word… and, please, Lord, never stop guiding me.
