Psalm 36: All the good comes from Him. Remember that.

Happy Tuesday. As I mentioned yesterday I am in London this week for meetings. This might cause my posting times to be a bit different, but I’m sure we’ll make it through.

I found today’s Psalm to be a great showing of the difference in those who love and trust Him and those who turn their backs on Him.

Here’s what I heard in Psalm 36 using SOAP:

Scripture: Psalm 36: 10-11

Oh, continue your steadfast love to those who know you,

and your righteousness to the upright of heart!

Let not the foot of arrogance come upon me,

nor the hand of the wicked drive me away.

Observation:

Keep loving those who follow you and please cause me to always know the true source of my strength is you. Keep wicked away from me.

Application:

God protects and guides me. He brings amazing blessings my way. It is critical that I remember that, always recognizing Him as the center of my life and the force guiding me. In doing that, I can fight against becoming arrogant and also not allow evil to enter.

Prayer:

Lord, I do recognize that YOU are the source of all good in my life. The amazing experiences I have are all because of your love and guidance. Thank you so very much for that. Please, Lord, keep evil away from creeping in. Keep me focused on your steadfast good, recognizing you and thanking you for your direction and gifts. Keep me centered on you, not me and certainly not evil.

Thank you for calling me to you every morning so that I can begin my day with the focus right where it needs to be: on You.

Thank you for so many blessings, Lord.

Amen.
