Psalm 41: Consider the poor… and that can mean more than $$

bible-study-post

Good morning.
Today’s SOAP talks about grace from several angles… and reminds us of the opportunities we have to show it.

Here’s what I heard in Psalm 41 using SOAP:

Scripture:Psalm 41: 1

Blessed is the one who considers the poor!

In the day of trouble the Lord delivers him

Observation:

The Lord will help those who help others in need.

Application:

For anyone who is able to read this SOAP, there is one who is less fortunate than we are. Poor can be a state of mind and poor can be a lack of money and poor can be a state without faith and our Father.

All those who are poor need to be shown grace and love and the way to Him.

Let’s all think about the ones around us and how we can help those who need it.

Prayer:

You have blessed me beyond measure. Thank you for your grace, love and provision.

Please help me to be you to those around me who need you. Help me to show grace, and kindness and also give money, food and love to the poor as is needed and as I can.

You have blessed me richly. I am honored to bless those whom I can that you have put in my path.

Thank you, Lord, for so much and for reminding me of the gifts I can give. Please help all of us reading your word to share as reminded today and always.

Amen.
