Good morning. Today is knee surgery day for me. I’m looking forward to getting this thing healed.
I’m also still juggling the icky stuff I mentioned yesterday.
I really appreciate the kind notes I’ve received on both situations.
Here’s what grabbed me in Psalm 60 by using SOAP:
Scripture: Psalm 60: 12
With God we shall do valiantly;
it is he who will tread down our foes.
With God we will overcome.
The Psalmist recognizes God’s incredible strength and power. He wraps all of that up with this last verse, where he recognizes that only with God will he overcome and that God will beat down his foes.
There is no power and strength like that of God. It is mighty.
Combining forces, and following Him, letting Him conquer the enemy is the best way to go. He can do it. He will do it. With Him, we will overcome evil.
Lord, please guide all of us facing battles. I’ve got a doozy going on, as you know. I am clinging to you. Please light my path so I can see the next steps you want me to take.
Thank you, Lord, for loving me and standing by me. Thank you for the reassurance that with you, victory over evil will happen.
