Psalm 65: He is super powerful.

bible-study-postHi, there.

I am sorry I missed you yesterday.

I am going through some of the hardest stuff I have ever experienced right now, so please forgive my absence yesterday and please pray for me and my family.

I am convinced my son is being attacked by evil, and I will not stand for it. My defense is in Him. I have prayed more in the last 36-ish hours than I ever have. And I know I have a lot more to go. Please join me in prayer.

At some point I may share more, or I may not. I don’t really know. Right now, though, I am just praying and reading and clinging to Him. So, please bear with me if I miss a day or two here.

That being said, here we are, back in the Psalms.

This is what grabbed me in Psalm 65 when using SOAP:

Scripture: Psalm 65:5

By awesome deeds you answer us with righteousness,

O God of our salvation,

the hope of all the ends of the earth

and of the farthest seas;

Observation:

He shows us his strength as he answers our prayers. He is the hope of the world.

Application:

He is super powerful. He hears my cries. He will answer them.

Prayer:

Father God, thank you for this assurance of your power and your love for each of us. The hope of all lies in you. Your strength will overcome evil.

Show me how to pray. Show me how to harness your strength. Please be with me and my family and all who battle evil.

In your son’s name I pray,

Amen.

Joining you in prayer for you, your son and your whole family.

In the morning, Oh Lord, you hear my voice: in the morning I lay my requests before you and wait in expectation. Heavenly Father we praise you for all you are and all you have done. You are a perfect father with a perfect will. We know you already have the answer for the situation this dear family is going through. Please bring your perfect peace into this praying mama’s heart as she and her family go through this together. In Jesus precious name we ask, Amen
