Psalms SOAP: Tell of His Wonders

Day 4 of 60 Days of Psalms

Today’s Reading: Psalms 9 & 10

Scripture: Psalm 9: 1

I will praise you, O Lord, with all my heart;

I will tell of all your wonders.

Observation: I should be sure to share the wonders I have experienced.

Application: God amazes me so often.

I experience and see little things and big things that bring me such amazement for our Creator. I feel like I find little love notes from Him all over the place.

Perhaps I am being reminded here to share even more of those things I see and experience.

Prayer: Lord, thank you for continuously showing me your affection for me, and for all of your children. Thank you for allowing my heart to recognize your beauty as coming from you.

Just yesterday, as I was driving on the highway next to what was a very challenging part of the MS 150 bike ride you pulled me through a few weeks ago, I couldn’t help but smile as I remembered the strength you gave me. I couldn’t help but marvel in the beauty of the sunshine and trees as I drove past. And I couldn’t help but feel thankful for what you did for me. Preparing my body and spirit for that ride, and all the rides you have given me, is a wonder you have performed in me. Thank you, Lord.

Guide me as I share the blessings and wonders I experience. Help me to share in a way that puts the full glory on you and does not come across as boasting on me.

I want to share your wonders. I want to glorify your name. I want to thank you and give you the full credit for the amazing things you have done in my life. Please, Lord, guide me as I share with others.

Thank you for giving me a life and heart overflowing with incredible blessings from you. You are amazing and worthy of unending praise!

Tomorrow’s Reading: Psalms 11-15
