Scripture: Psalm 90:17
May the favor of the Lord our God rest upon us;
Establish the work of our hands for us—
Yes, establish the work of our hands.
Observation: We want to follow the Lord’s direction for our work, and for the Lord’s favor to be on us.
Application: I think my husband does a lot of good for people in his line of work. Lately, though, his profession has gotten a bad rap. Some of the people in his field have been very unethical and the media has really been on it.
I want my husband to feel affirmation that he is making a positive difference in the lives he touches… because he is doing just that. I want him to feel God’s hand.
Prayer: Lord, please help G to feel your hand on his work every day. Bring the experiences you want him to have into his workplace. Let him see you at work in undeniable ways. And guide him in growing closer to you.
Keep away frustration and doubt and continue strengthening him to act ethically and with great heart.
Thank you, Lord, for allowing me to marry a man who is so ethical, kind and also good at what he does professionally. Strengthen him when he gets weary.
Thank you for seeing us through these tumultuous months. Please keep him in your grasp.
