Scripture: 1 Corinthians 4: 20
For the Kingdom of God is not just fancy talk; it is living by God’s power (NLT)
For the kingdom of God is not a matter of talk but of power. (NIV)
Observation: The kingdom if God is about living and acting as He would have us, more so than merely talking about it.
Application: I can talk and think about what my actions should be, but if my actions don’t show that, the talk is hollow. And God knows what is in my heart.
Prayer: Lord, please guide me in the follow-through of living for you. Help me to take more action for you and live more as you would have me live and less as my worldly desires would have me live. Thank you for living in me and guiding me. Without you I would be nothing and really, really lost.
