Scripture: Ecclesiastes 4:9-10
Two are better than one,
because they have good return for their work;
If one falls down,
his friend can help him up.
But pity the man who falls
and has no one to help him up!
Observation: It’s better to be together than to be alone. We need a partner.
Application: God designed us to go together with another so that we could help each other.
Prayer: Lord, thank you for my marriage to G. Thank you for bringing us together. Please continue to strengthen our marriage and help us to see always that we are on the same team, whether we disagree about other issues or not.
I couldn’t imagine what my life would be like without him as my teammate, my partner. Help me to be the teammate and wife you designed me to be so that our marriage can be as you intended. Please protect our marriage from any evil that may be lurking. Help us to nurture our relationships to each other and always place our marriage high on the priority list both in words and actions.
Thank you, again for the gift of our marriage and our commitment to one another. And thank you for your protection.
