The Ultimate VIP Weekend… and much, much longer

Last weekend, while I was attending the Disney Social Media Moms Celebration at Walt Disney World, I was given a most incredible gift.

If you follow Momstoolbox on Facebook or Twitter, you probably know that Andrea of Savings Lifestyle, a friend of mine, who was also one of my conference roommates, was randomly selected to win a VIP tour of Walt Disney World and a night’s stay in Cinderella’s Castle in the Magic Kingdom.

I couldn’t help but to tweet and Facebook about it nearly every step of the way. It was so unbelievable. Andrea invited four other bloggers (Toni of The Happy Housewife, Amanda of Oh Amanda, Briana of Bargain Briana and Crystal of The Thrifty Mama) along with me (!!) to join her in the magical experience. And it was magical in every single possible way.

As the “Castle Family,” we go to jump near the front of the line of several rides. Our guide pointed out hidden Mickeys and told us the stories behind the rides. We got to watch the fireworks while stretched out on the lawn eating Mickey-Mouse-shaped ice cream. We  got to wander out into the Magic Kingdom wearing Cinderella-crested robes over our PJs at 3 a.m after having a tour of the secret first floor of the Magic Kingdom. We wiped away tears as our guide shared stories of Walt Disney World’s beginnings and Roy Disney’s love for his brother, Walt. And then we returned to our suite to have chocolate milk out of champagne glasses and nibble on the white chocolate horse-drawn carriage filled with chocolate covered strawberries.

It was amazing. And what made it even more special was the fact that we were given this incredible, amazing gift for absolutely no reason.

A night in Cinderella’s castle cannot be earned. It cannot be bought for any price… but it sure can be enjoyed and cherished. I am so so thankful to have been given the gift.

There is another gift I have that cannot be bought at any price or earned. And it truly is the ultimate VIP package. It is even better than a night in Cinderella’s Castle or any Disney VIP tour.

We got to hang out and learn about the creators of Walt Disney World and feel very special for a night because my friend’s ticket was picked.

But I also get to hang out with the Creator of the universe anytime I want. I can drink Him in by reading His Word and He will hear me every single time I pray to Him. He loves me. He created me detail by detail and He knows me like no other. I have no idea what gifts are to come to me in eternity, but He knows. And I know they are going to be more spectacular than I will ever be able to imagine. And His fireworks will be even better than the ones surrounding the castle that night.

Sure, I loved every single second of my magical experience with Cinderella’s Castle. I loved all the privilege that was mine for 20 hours.

But I’ve got an eternity of the most incredible privilege ahead of me. And I can’t buy it. I cannot earn it. I just have to accept the gift. And you can, too.

All it takes is love for our Father and trust in Him… and you are are His VIP forever.

In Cinderella’s Castle they have a grandfather clock that is set at 11:59 because the magic never ends.

Outside of Disney, the magic doesn’t have to end either, because it is much, much more than magic.

Do you want to know how to become His forever and reap the benefits of the most ultimate VIP package ever? I’d love to share with you if you’d like to know….
