What kind of letter am I?

Scripture: 2 Corinthians 3:3

You show that you are a letter from Christ, the result of our ministry, written not by ink but with the Spirit of the living God, not on tablets of stone but in tablets of human hearts.

Observation: The Spirit is within me and I am a reflection of Him

Application: Am I letting Him shine? What kind of letter am I?

Prayer: Lord, please shine within me. Guide me in pushing away all the yucky stuff and temptation, the laziness and the frustration, and help me to just reflect your love which you have put inside of me. Thank for choosing to dwell inside of me. And thank you for your forgiveness when I do not let Your love shine, but instead veil you in sin and attempts at self-righteousness.

  1. I can so relate. right now I’m going through the Daniel study by Beth Moore and we are in the section where she is working to convince me that I AM A HOLY VESSEL. Sealed by God. No matter what sin I have engaged in, I was allowing myself to be used by Satan, but that does not scrape away the covering, the seal of the blood of Christ.

I have more trouble forgiving myself than God does.

which brings up a problem. the initial sin event clouded my witness. but then if I allow my own guilt to convince me that I am worthless and dirty I. Will. Make. MORE. Bad. Decisions. and just mess the picture up even further.
If we could just bring ourselves to really understand. really grasp the concept of God’s love and forgiveness it would break the cycle of sin.
