A Psalm a Day: Day 2, Psalm 2: Don’t plot in vain. Be strong in Him

Good morning!

Today we are reading Psalm 2 which is short, but still very powerful.

In reading it, I was reminded (once again) to plan with Him. Plotting my own course, without his guidance, will not lead to success.

I may not be a king of the earth with plans to take over the world, but my plans are still critical. Listening to Him and His guidance and following that guidance will lead to blessing and true success. (And that success is not what the world defines as success.)

"Serve the Lord with fear and rejoice with trembling..... Blessed are all who take refuge in him." Psalm 2:11, part of Psalm 2:12)

Taking refuge in him is from where my strength comes. Refuge sounds weak, but in Him, refuge is power and strength.

Father God, thank you for offering true strength and refuge in you. I want to serve you completely and rejoice with trembling. Your way is truth and I want to live in truth alone. Please do guide me. Keep me on your path. I am yours.

Thank you for taking refuge in Him with me. Thank you for reading with me.

In love,
