March 8, 2010

He there, my cyber-friends.
I’m having a rough morning. Would you please lift me up in prayer?
I’m sorry to be so mysterious. Although I write about a lot of deep stuff, I’m still pretty private, too.
So… please forgive me for not sharing more, but He knows. And I think He is telling me to humble myself [...]

The email ended up in my Junk Mail folder. And that would be a Junk Mail folder I [...]

12 inches of hair to make someone else’s life more beautiful

June 18, 2009

Today I had two ponytails, each 12 inches long, cut off to donate to Beautiful Lengths, an organization that uses ponytails at least eight inches in length to make wigs that are distributed free of cost to women battling cancer.

I had heard a lot about Locks of Love in the past, but opted to give [...]

First Time Mom Winner

May 11, 2009

Thank you so much to everyone who submitted a first time mom story last week.
I really enjoyed reading all of them  and learning about your experiences.
Each story had something special that made me really think, and I like that.
For me, the account was a little tough to write, so I especially appreciate that all of [...]
