Bible in 90 Days Check in

How’s your reading coming?

Are you getting frustrated about the reading, slipping further and further behind, wondering if you should just give it up and not finish… or just read at your own pace?

Is life getting in the way? Are you having a tough time making time to read enough of God’s word each day to stay on track?

Or are you flying along, keeping up nearly every day or even cruising way ahead?

Either way, let us know all about it!

We are just past the half-way point and, if you are behind and feeling hopeless, now is the time to really buckle down and make it happen.

Sure, you could convince yourself that it is okay to just stop, that you aren’t getting enough out of the reading because you are trying to go so fast and that pleasing God by reading the Bible this fast is just pointless anyway. And you are right… reading this fast isn’t something to do to check a box and please God. It is something you do to grow closer to Him, to learn more about our Father, his Son and the Holy Spirit. It’s an amazing way to spend time with Him that WILL change you.

He gave you his Word. He invited you to read it. And I would bet He invited you to read it with us right now in just 90 days, finishing with us by October 8. Why else would you have been drawn to the program and began reading with us?

So what happens now? Are you going to keep to it, or jump back in and finish? I have seen readers jump into gear at this point and come back from day 10 to finish on time. And you CAN do that, too, if you want to. He has given you the time. It’s up to you to decide what to do with it.

What’s it gonna be?

There ARE forces against you. Who are you going to let win?

Let us know.

  3. I’m quite a ways behind, I think a week! I’m not giving up, though. Life is never gonna slow down so I may as well be thankful for how busy it is n keep plugging away. This is canning season, school prep time, I have a huge 14 ft hole cut out of our roof waiting for a dormer to be put in & hopefully before we get Oregon rain. Not stressing lol!! Karen from Oregon

I’m waaay! behind and I kind of feel bad that I’m far off that I’m tempted to jump and go do the current days reading then catch up with the rest later, is this advisable or should I just continue reading from where I left? It’s true that the days that I haven’t been consistent ain’t as fulfilling as when I keep reading because I find myself talking about the word every time and telling people of the new things I learn, its my first time to go through the bible and there are some scriptures that are so new to me but its so adventurous

    1. You are so welcome.. thank you for reading with us!

  8. I am behind right now because of my surgery. I will catch up and finish though!

  9. Thanks! I’m about 2 days behind, but I know I can catch up tomorrow. I was 8 days behind last Monday, got caught up and even a day ahead. Thursday-Sundays are tough for my family due to the anxiety level for my son with special needs. I read a little each day, but I don’t have the same amount of time to sit down and read those 4 days. I will finish on time, I have no doubt. This has meant so much to me. I have felt my relationship with Him grow and being able to be in His word every day has really made a huge impact on me. Thank you for leading us through this, and thank you to my amazing friend and mentor, Jennifer Janes for all she is doing as well!

    1. I’m so proud of you for sticking to it and making so much progress! I am so excited for the growth you are experiencing. :) And thanks for telling us how much help Jennifer has been.. she’s awesome!

  10. Thanks for this encouraging post! I’m behind, but am still going to finish on time :)
