Bible in 90 Days- join in July 2010

Reading and Blogging thru the Bible in 90 Days with so many of you this year has been an awe-inspiring experience. It has been amazing to see God moving in so many lives.

And so how can I not host another Blogging Thru the Bible in 90 Days experience?

Our next group will begin Monday, July 5, and continue through Saturday, October 2, 2010.

I will go into more details as we get closer, but here’s a quick over view to get you thinking:

To give you a heads-up, if this is your first time, I strongly suggest you use a copy of the official Bible in 90 Days Bible. It is an NIV thinline  with minimal footnotes and has start and end markers for each day. With that Bible you will be reading 12 pages a day, Genesis to Revelation. If you do not use that Bible, you can download a schedule to use with your own.

As the start date gets closer, I will post a list of participants on MomsToolbox.com. And I will ask you to share the program on your own sites, on Twitter, and on Facebook, pointing readers back here to join us.

As a group we will meet on Twitter using #B90Days each Monday night from 8-9 CST July 5, through October 4, to discuss the reading, compare notes and cheer and pray for each other.

I’ll also post weekly check-ins on MomsToolbox each Monday where I will ask you to log in with either a link to a post on your own blog or a comment as to where you are in the reading and how it is going for you.  To remain listed as a reader, you must check in regularly.

Accountability and prayer support is critical in completing this process. To help in that, I am enlisting Bible in 90 Days graduates to help stay in contact with readers and check in with them. (Each mentor will be given a short list of readers to check in with each week. Mentors do not have to be reading with us again, but they must have read the entire Bible with this program.)

I am really excited about all the enthusiasm this program has brought to reading the Bible. Reading the Bible in 90 Days certainly changed my life… I can’t wait to read what it will do in yours!

If you would like to join in the next online session of Blogging Thru the Bible in 90 Days, either as a reader or a mentor, or if you would like to help in promoting it, please leave a comment here. Make sure the email address you enter is valid… I’ll be in touch with you directly as the date grows nearer.

Also, please swing by and fill out this short sign-up form so I can stay in touch. Thanks!

And, just in case you are wondering… here’s a link to little background on the Bible in 90 Days program.

  38. I had a 5 organ digestive transplant Sept. 11-2005 @ University of Pittsburgh, I’m 25yo and from Bryan, OH tho. I have done really good till now & have been here with a severe/weird case of pancretitis. My doctor has only seen like 3 cases. I’ve been here since Jan, & am having a hard time with all of it. I just want to go home & see all my animals etc…I always try to go to church & thank GOD but some days it is hard & I don’t know why he thinks I can handle all this. So I’m going to try the Bible thing in 90 days if I can get the docs & nurses to leave me alone long enough to read it. So please help me along, thanks.

  39. I am very inspired. I should be finishing up my current Bible-reading plan around July 1st, and I know this challenge will help me.

  41. Really looking forward to this! I have enrolled my husband into doing this with me too! I have read the New Testament ages ago but never all of the Old Testament. Can’t wait! Thank you for doing this.

  42. Both looking forward to and cringing at the thought of the accountability:) Thanks!

I am a very new Christian trying to learn all I can to live a life filled with the love of Christ for my family and I. I think this would be a wonderful way to read the bible cover to cover for the 1st time. I do not yet have my own blog set up but was planning on starting one. I hope I can still participate even without my own blog to write comments on. Please let me know.

    Thanks,
    Michelle from Ontario, Canada
