I love a carnival, a blog carnival, that is

As a new blogger, I have really enjoyed all the blog carnivals that I’ve come across in the blogoshpere.

These features offer a fantastic way to learn about all sorts of other blogs and gather lots of great information.

Plus, a few of them have motivated me to get a more home chores done by a deadline so I can post about them and feel the link love from my post.

That leads me to another benefit: more visibility for the posters. (And what blogger doesn’t love more visibility?)

So, first, thanks to the Mr. Linky people for coming up with the fantastic tool that makes all those links possible.

And second, thanks to all of you who host your little (and big) carnivals! I appreciate your cleverness in coming up with the original idea and your dedication to keeping it going. (And letting everyone else benefit from your work.)

Like I mentioned, I’m pretty new to the whole blog scene, so I only know of a few regular weekly carnivals:

Menu Plan Monday

Tackle it Tuesday

Kitchen Tip Tuesday

Talk About Tuesday

Works for Me Wednesday

Things I Love Thursday

If you know of any others, won’t you leave a comment with a link so I (And others) can check them out, too?

So this isn’t quite a carnival. It’s more like a carnival fair.

Thanks!

I am a new blogger too, and think I’ve really benefited from the carnivals for the reasons you mentioned. It’s a great way to “meet” new bloggers and get visibility. MPM and WFMW have also been good motivation for me to get things done that need done anyway!
