SOAP: I’m praying for you

Scripture: Romans 15:13

So I pray that God, who gives you hope, will keep you happy and full of peace as you believe in him. May you overflow with hope through the power of the Holy Spirit.

Observation/Application: (I am combining the two because I think this verse is pretty straightforward.)

I write a lot about the true joy and reward that comes from following Christ. Yet following Christ does not mean that is all you will experience: We live in a fallen world and there is a lot of pain here, too. And remembering to live with the joy that comes from hope and the delayed gratification in eternal life isn’t always that easy.

So today I am praying for you, all my bloggy friends and visitors. I am praying that God will fill you up with His peace and joy today and all days, as you believe in Him. I am praying that you will feel His presence through the bumpy roads and be able to focus on Him and not your pain and frustration in this world.

Nope, I don’t know all your names or the struggles you face. But He does. And He will still make a difference if you let Him.

Prayer: Father God, I lift up to you all who are reading this passage and any of my blog on any day. Please fill each of them up with your love and with hope that can only come from you. Let your presence in their lives be undeniable.

Guide them through the bumps and bruises and remind them of your unfailing love and promise of eternal life with you.

Please give us all strength to hold on when we are tired and worn out. Help us to see you in every minute of our lives.

Thank you, Lord, for loving each and every one of us, even when we do not love ourselves or each other.

And thank you for the true comfort you so openly offer all who seek it.

My all who see this feel your blessing.

Thank you for your uncountable blessings!

And thank you for all the relationships you have opened up to me through  MomsToolbox. Thank you for allowing me to learn more about you and share it almost daily.
