Do you want to read the Bible, the WHOLE thing, cover to cover? Why not do it in 90 days with group of others and really get it done this time?
I’ve hosted thousands of readers through it that way right here on MomsToolbox, following the program set forth by the Bible in 90 Days ministry, just modifying it a bit to meet the needs of an online community.
In the past I’ve hosted it with an amazing team of volunteer mentors and now I’d like to encourage other bloggers and community leaders to give it a try and host it on their own sites.
That’s right, instead of hosting one read-through on MomsToolbox for the Spring of 2012, I am encouraging other bloggers to set their own dates and host their own challenges on their own sites.
I will provide downloadable Bible in 90 Days resources for leaders and also resources for readers to help everyone make it through and finish the entire Bible in 90 days.
These resources will include the program bookmark and reading plan, as well as daily SOAP devotionals and inspiration, overviews and notes on each book of the Bible, weekly tips and encouragement learned from hosting 4 sessions online and several more in person. I’ll also have graphics you can download and use on your site.
Would you like to host the Bible in 90 Days on your site?
On Monday, December 12, I will begin featuring a list of bloggers who will be hosting the Bible in 90 Days beginning in either January or February of 2012. If you would like to host, you will be invited to enter your start dates and link to an introductory page about the program on your site beginning that day. (To join the list, you will add your own information using a form on MomsToolbox.)
Please pray about your involvement. This is a tremendous commitment and I only want you to commit if you are sure you can keep up the encouragement for all 90 days. You don’t need to blog about the reading daily, you just need to be an encouragement to those who will be reading with you. And I will provide resources for you to help.
Remember: You are not there to interpret scripture for those reading with you. You are just there to help keep them reading. (Let God do the talking about scripture.)
Also, you don’t need to know by December 12 if you’d like to host. I will keep the list open for quite awhile, so you can add your link whenever you are ready..

Check the list of bloggers hosting on December 12, or any day after that. Visit the links and find the site that speaks to you the most. Then contact that host and get ready to read following the start dates she (or he) specifies.
I’ll also have resources for download on MomsToolbox for you, too.

My prayer is that we can reach more readers and empower more leaders… who then bring more readers of the entire Bible.
We can really do this and mobilize thousands more to read the entire Bible with us.
