If you are reading with me, today we are on Proverbs 20. (Remembering what to read in the Proverbs is as easy as remembering the day’s date when you read them with me.) That being said:
Today’s Reading: Proverbs 20
Using the SOAP devotional method, here’s what I heard this time…
Scripture: Proverbs 20:18
Plans are established by counsel;
by wise guidance wage war.
Seek advice before taking big actions
Today I am seeking counsel from a team before moving forward with a big step in my business. I love that God is reassuring me here that seeking guidance is the way to go. Jumping in without seeking knowledge is not.
I’m now even more excited to see what I learn and what transpires from that today and in the days ahead.
Again you amaze me, Lord. You really are right here with me, guiding me in everything, reassuring me and giving me the resources I need. Thank you so very much for that, Lord.
Please continue to guide me and let my steps and words be honoring to you.
Thank you so much for this reminder to seek counsel. Please, Lord, let the counsel I receive be true and from you. Help me to see my path as needed and know when that counsel is from you and should be followed and when it is not.
Thank you, Lord.
