Read the Bible in 90 Days with MomsToolbox beginning January 3

Are you ready to read the Bible in its entirety… in 90 days?

I am here to help you do just that!

If you want to read it all, I have a team assembled to help you read it every word, from start to finish, straight through from Genesis to Revelation, just a like a novel.

This is not a study program. It is a reading program designed to help you read every word. You can go back and study whatever you like, however you would like, later.

We will give you the reading assignments, cheer you on, pray for you and offer a chance for online discussion of the reading. You will be placed in a community of readers and encouraged to pray for the readers in your group as you achieve this goal of growing closer to Christ by reading the Bible in its entirety in 90 days. Our program is based on the official Bible in 90 Days ministry, but adapted to meet the needs of an online community.

If you’d like to do it, here’s what you’ll need to do:

1.  Pray about the challenge and ask God to guide you in using His time to read His Word.

2. Visit the official MomsToolbox Bible in 90 Days sign up form to share some information that will be used to contact you for the challenge and place you in an accountability team. (You must sign up using that form to be a part of our community.)

3. Consider buying the official Bible in 90 Days Bible. Click here to see why the Bible in 90 Days Ministry and I suggest using this particular Bible. I do not make a cent off of the sale of this Bible. If the cost is prohibitive, contact the ministry about a possible scholarship.

4. Make plans to visit MomsToolbox.com every Monday from January 3- April 4, to read the weekly update, get the week’s reading assignment and daily devotional links, report on your progress,  pray for others and be inspired by past Bible in 90 Days grads.. If you are a blogger and your blogging about your progress, you can also link up your weekly progress update post there. You must check in each week to remain a part of our community of readers.

5. Start thinking and praying about when you will read each day. The reading will take about 45 minutes to an hour and 15 minutes each day, depending on your reading speed.

6. Make plans to join us on Twitter every Monday night from January 3- April 4, from 8-9 CST for our weekly discussion of the reading and program. Follow MomsToolbox on Twitter as well as the #B90Days hashtag for discussion during our Monday  night Twitter parties and to encourage each other daily throughout the program. (Twitter participation is optional.)

7. Download the Bible in 90 Days reading schedule and place a copy in your Bible and somewhere else in your house to help remind you of your commitment. Consider giving the third copy to a friend and invite her to join you in the reading.

8. Subscribe to MomsToolbox.com so that you don’t miss any of the updates about the Bible in 90 Days community. In the coming days I will post inspirational stories from Bible in 90 Days grads, how-to tips and potential updates on how our program and community will work. I don’t want you to miss a thing!

9. If you like to communicate on Facebook, please “like” MomsToolbox on Facebook. I will also post the daily reading schedule there, as well as ask questions and encourage discussion about the reading there, too.

10. If you are a blogger, consider posting one of the Blogging Through the Bible in 90 Days/ Bible in 90 Days buttons on your site to invite others to join us in reading.

11. Begin reading with us January 3, follow the schedule and keep reading every day until you have read the Bible in its entirety!!

It is my sincere hope that you will join us in the reading. Your life will be changed. Others who see you read might also be changed, too.

Swing by the Bible in 90 Days sign up form and join the community today… then get ready for the read of your life!

January 10 update: Our mentored groups are full, but you can still sign up to read with us and be placed into an accountability group.

  1. So excited to be starting this! Tried before to read the Bible in a year without success. I know that God wants me to delve deeper into His Word so I’m taking the leap….

  2. Okay, I know I am a little young to be trying this, but I think that I need to actually strive to read through the entire Bible myself. This 90 day read is the perfect thing, and I am so excited that I joined just in time.

  3. Tomorrow’s the day!!! I am so excited to get started!!

Just signed up yesterday and am so excited to get started and see what the Lord has to teach me. I’ve never read through the bible before let alone in 90 days so I’m excited to begin this journey. Thanks for all of your guidance and support!

  8. Ok a new year a new start. I tried lasttime and did not succeed so I am having another go. I am quitting blogging and evertyhing to do this challenge so here goes

  9. just signed up. I’ve read the entire Bible before but not all at once. I am recommitting to God’s word and this is a fantastic way to stay accountable.

  10. Just signed up! Am hoping to be consistent in my reading with the help of a support group.

  11. Hi! I’m looking forward to this journey. Will be reading and hopefully blogging along….praying that God leads me as I read. I thank Him for leading me to this ministry!

  12. Looking forward to this challenge. I need this accountability and timetable. Thank you for your hardwork and time.

  13. We’re in the middle of a move right now, but I’m anxious to get started. This is such a huge thing for me right now. NO EXCUSES! The audio version counts, right? For the first few days I may need to use the audio as a backup plan so I can stay on track.

  14. Beginning January 3, our church is hosting an event called “Reading the Entire Bible Aloud” where we will meet in the Prayer Room every morning for one hour to read the Bible aloud as a group. I was excited to find your website and discovering that others are reading the entire Bible in 90 days as well. I will let my group know about your site and what it offers. Thank you!

  15. I’m not a mom either, but count me in on the challenge!

  16. Not a mom – but looking forward to the challenge here!

Looking forward to doing this again this year. This time I plan to use the podcasts and combine them with an exercise goal.

  18. This will be my second attempt. I consider myself a “baby” Christian having only really started my true walk with God in the last two years despite being raised in a Methodist church for 30+ years. I am excited to learn more and be surrounded in His word. Thanks for the opportunity.

  19. I’m all in! I can’t wait! I’ve been asking God to saturate my life and I know this is EXACTLY what I’ve been needing!

  20. I am just so excited about this; I can’t wait!

  21. I am looking forward to reading along with you all, this will be my first time through the entire bible! I have ‘officially’ signed up, posted the button on my blog and will be picking up my copy of the Bible in 90 Days tomorrow. Woot!

  22. Seriously considering this… I’m having a baby around March 25 so I should just get it “in” in time for our new little one! But I am wondering – from those of you who’ve done this before – what’s the benefit of reading the whole Word in 90 days? Have you found your eyes “glazing over” or skimming large chunks? I am going to read some stories from “graduates” of this plan. But for someone who’s also looking at yearlong plans, I’m just weighing the options. Thanks for any input!

  24. Hi there Amy! I think you know from my emails that I’m participating, but thought I’d sign up on the official thread, too. :) I’m mentoring AND reading this time!! yay!!

  25. I just signed up to challenge myself to read the Bible in 90 days. I will be using my own Bible, but I am motivated and ready to go!! :0)

    I’ll also grab a button!!

  26. Thank you for hosting this challenge again this year! I can’t wait to try it out. Am I allowed to take a head start? I had started the challenge on my own before I realized you were hosting again and I’m ready to go!

  27. I got your link from my friend Cassandra’s blog “Adventist Homemaker.”

I have been thinking about taking this 90 bible reading challenge. However, I read quite slow, and I don’t know if I could really do this without failure. It’s been in my heart to try, but I just don’t know . . .

    Blessings,

    -Lady Rose

  28. I’m ready! last year life got in the way & I didn’t finish but there’s a Bible & notebook being put on my nightstand , so excited to be able to attempt this again

  29. Okay, I just signed up! I prayed first because it is a big commitment and my plate is already pretty full! But I have known about this plan for a couple of years now and have wanted to do it. Thanks for this extra bit of motivation!

  30. I’m praying about completing this.

  31. Still praying about doing this! I really want to. I have a couple of Bible studies I’m involved in, and I want to be able to meet all my commitments. I know God will give me the time if I do this. Since I live in Singapore, I guess I’ll have to join the Twitter party my Tuesday morning.

  32. Excited to be taking part in this challenge! I’ve also encouraged other moms to take part through a group blog I contribute to and I’m planning to write about the experience on my own personal blog. Next step…purchase my 90 Day Bible.

  33. This will be my 3rd try at completing this challenge, but I’m totally up for it! I bought a B90Days bible a couple months ago in preparation for this challenge!! I am SO excited! And ready!

  34. I just signed up.. I will complete a 100 day plan on Dec 31 which is taking me through key passages of the bible in 100 days so by Jan 3rd I will be ready to read through cover to cover!! Thanks!

  35. The new button html works like a charm! Thanks for tweaking it!

  36. I’m signed up!! This seems very daunting right now, but I’m excited, and I know with the support of the other readers that it’ll be something I can accomplish!

  37. I just finished signing up and I’m excited…and nervous. I’ve tried many times to read the Bible in a year, and have always gotten off track. I’m thrilled to have accountability partners to keep me honest!

  38. This is a daunting task, but I am up for the challenge! I’m going to pray about it and see if it’s right for me.

  39. I signed up, but I will also be joined by my 5 oldest children – I will check them in with me. Perhaps my oldest, who has an email address, will check in herself. :-) Looking forward to it!

  40. I just signed up. :)
I hope the Bibles I ordered will arrive before endof this year.

  41. Sorry Amy, I did something weird in my last comment.

  42. I’m in! I can’t wait to do the challenge again.

  43. I’m all signed up. The picture wouldn’t work for me either so I just saved the picture and linked it to the link it was connected to and that worked. I will blog on it now and link it to your page. I’m looking forward to this. I have read the Bible the last two years in a year so I’m looking forward to a new way of reading it.

  44. I did this for the first time during the summer and was very proud to finish! I felt the need to do it again in January and hopefully help to encourage others to join and read along too!

  45. I am on board. Do you have a required version to read through? I’ve read through 5 different translations and thought maybe the 90 days may be a good time to read through the paraphrase The Message. Thoughts?

    Thanks.

  46. I am signing up now and I blogged about it! Looking forward to being a mentor this go ’round! Praying for God’s will to be done in the lives of many!!

  47. I can’t figure out the picture either… when I put in the code :

for some reason, it’s coming up with an X for the picture (which I tested the image code in a new browser and it is correct) but when I hover over my image box, it says it’s trying to go to http://www.momlovesbooks.comhttp://www.momstoolbox… etc. It’s not there in the coding, so I’m not sure what’s going on. I see Trudie had problems with it, I’m wondering what on earth the problem is. HELP! Please!!! I checked the coding against my other “widget” codings, and it seems to be okay, but it’s not working… what do I do?
    Blessings!
