Hope this list helps you. I’m printing it  and keeping it inside my pantry door so I always have the ideas handy.

Don’t forget to keep portion sizes in check. Measure out what you plan to eat and put the rest away. If you think want more, have a full glass of water first and then decide if you really want more or not.

Here are a few ideas to get started. PLEASE comment away with your own ideas!

  1. My son loves to snack on carrots. Also celery with peanut butter is good.

  2. I just started eating freeze dried apples and Nature Valley Fruit Twists. Both all natural, real fruit and tasty.

For kid snacks I sometimes make a preschool version of trail mix with different kinds of cereal, goldfish, nuts (mine aren’t allergic) any other bite-sized snacks I have on hand. Then I throw in a couple of mini M&Ms for a fun surprise.

  3. Great list for sweet snacks!! I have a huge sweet tooth.
How about apples sprinkled with sugar free jello mix?
YUMMMMM! But I would have to vow to sprinkle lightly and immediately throw away the rest of the box!!

  4. Wow – this is quite a list! I’m printing it to put in my pantry too!

I like to 90 calorie Quaker chocolate chip granola bars. They satisfy my chocolate and my sweet cravings and they are only 90 calories.
Glad you like it! Your comment reminded me of the Fiber One oats and chocolate bars. Yummy and filling and low points. I’m going to go up and add them. –Mom
