Bible in 90 Days Week 11 Check in Post

For many of you, myself included, this week is Spring Break. In addition to extra family fun, it may also mean disrupted schedules and increased difficulty in finding time to read.

When I am on vacation, I can often be found in hotel hallways well before my family stirs, doing my daily Bible reading. That doesn’t always work, though, so my husband and I try to look at our schedule and pinpoint alone times for each of us so I can get my reading and prayer time in.

What have been some of your strategies for reading and praying during extra busy times or vacation? Please let us know in the general comments of this post so other readers can learn from your experiences. Then swing by your group to leave a note and check in this week.

I pray that your reading is going well and that the words are leaping off of the pages and into your hearts as you read this week. We’re almost there!

I lost all my email some time ago. I had a group P and then assigned to a mentor group. Any way I can get reassigned or my name looked up? My check-in, few days behind but will be caught back up soon!

Well, I did it – I got 2 days behind :( but I am determined to catch up today! Sleeping in over spring break does not help ;-). I need to read early before all my kiddos get up. I pray for yall who have gotten behind – please don’t be discouraged. You are still reading the living Word! God will bless your time. Allow Him to speak to you no matter your pace.
    Blessings,

The only tip I can offer is to not go to bed until your reading is done for the day. Period.

    Hi Amy,

In answer to your question…..when I am really busy and have tons of errands to do… I just take my bible with me and leave it in the car. Every stop I have to get out of the car; before I get out of it, I grab my Bible and read one or two chapters, then when I come back to the car, I read it again. Of course, this is harder to do with others traveling with me. One day, I accomplish to read about 8 chapters or so. Hope this helps.
    ((hugs to you)))
