Bible in 90 Days Week 6 Check in Post

Welcome, Bible in 90 Days readers, to Week 6!

We are trucking along and, even if you are feeling a bit (or a LOT) behind, you are still making your way through the Bible with us.  And you can still finish with us. (Yes, you can.) So, even if you are really behind and wondering how in the world you will ever catch up, please stop, pray about it, look at your schedule and see what can be jiggled a bit for the next few weeks. We are almost half-way there. This is a TOUGH challenge, but it is one that you CAN do with His help. So ask for it. And then listen.

Bettie, who has read with us before, shared her thoughts on reading with us in response to another frustrated reader’s check in comments. If you are wondering what the big deal about 90 days may be and considering throwing in the towel and reading at your own pace, click over and at least read what she has to say. Then come back and let us know your thoughts in your group’s check in.

Okay, on to today and this week’s check in…

Today is Day 36

Reading: Nehemiah 13:15- Job 7:21

Mentored groups are numbered. If you know your mentor’s name or group number, find it here, click on it and follow the instructions on the page where it takes you.

Accountability groups are lettered. If you signed up after mid-day on January 2, you should have received an email telling you which group is yours. Please find your group’s letter, click on it and follow the instructions on the page where it takes you to check in.

  1. I just found this site. I bought the 90 Day Bible last fall and started it on January 1. I’ve been able to stay on track. At first it was difficult to make myself sit down long enough each day, but now I look forward to the reading.

    1. I’m glad you have found us! Would you like to be added to an accountability group? Either way, we’d love to have you keep checking in with us and celebrate our finish together. :)

  2. Still lovin’ the reading challenge. Some days I’m behind, some days I’m ahead but always within a day or two of the reading schedule. The peace I get from reading is indescribable.

  3. Hi Amy,
Thank you for posting Bettie’s e-mail. I needed to read it this morning. The end of it really helped me to be aware of some things I had not thought of it, which are the lessons learned are more important than anything else.
Like Bettie, I too have had some hard situation to deal with, which I had no control over it. From the beginning of the challenge I have been getting up at 5-5:30 every morning for my prayers and to read….but still behind, so her article helped me to see that is going to be OK, I needed to be behind a bit, for the Lord to speak to me through certain passages of scriptures I was reading yesterday.. I know I will catch up again :)
    (((hugs))
    Katia
