Bible in 90 Days Week 10 Check in Post

We are definitely cruising into the homestretch now!

Stay strong and press on, even if you have slipped so far back that it feels like there is no hope at all.

There IS ALWAYS still hope that you will hear Him speaking to you through your daily Bible reading, even if you are way, way behind the rest of us. And, who knows… all that daily reading might catapult you to kick into serious gear and catch up. But if it doesn’t, you will still have gained valuable time taking in His Word… not bad, eh?

If you have a few extra minutes and haven’t read it yet, click back to Melissa’s inspiring story of her Bible in 90 Days,  I mean Bible in 47 Days, experience.

How has the reading impacted you? I’d love for each of you to comment right here in the general comments with how the reading has impacted you.. or if it has, yet.

Then swing over to your group check in and let your group know how you are doing.

I am so thankful you are reading His Word with us!

  1. I just realized last night that as much as I’m ready for Jesus and the New Testament, how much more were the Jews who were living the horror we’ve been reading about? It gave me chills to think about it. How I want to long for Him today the way they must have back then!

  2. I was saying to my Faith Group last week that I’m SO ready for the new testament. I don’t know that I could keep going if I didn’t *know* how it all turned out – what faith they had!

  3. I thought that all of the change happened last time through- but I was WRONG! I am changing in leaps and bounds this time. I feel so much stronger, and closer to Him. Headed to write a post about it =)

  4. These are such hard books to read because you can hear the disappointment when the Lord speaks to his prophets. Not surprise, just disappoinment. I love the parts in Ezekiel referring to a heart of flesh and having the words written on their hearts. Oh, He is so good to us!

  5. It’s interesting because I feel like my first response when something difficult goes on in my life is to pull away from my time with God, hence why I didn’t make the 90 day challenge
Last time around. Her post was so inspiring that keeping in the word is way more healing than pulling away. Thanks!

  6. Hi Amy,
The Word of God is so rich! I always find something new every time I read it. I was encouraged as I read Jeremiah and Ezekiel of sin and repentance…..this is such a vague subject in the church these days, but there are consequences for sin and for obedience. God is Just but also merciful! He is so WONDERFUL!
    Have a wonderful week.
    ((hugs))
    Katia
